If you’ve been following us on Facebook (and you should be!), you know we’ve expanded our physician team at the South Sioux City clinic. Dr. Melissa Austreim, joined the practice in August and we couldn’t be happier!
Inspired by her hometown physician, Dr. Austreim decided that practicing medicine was something she was meant to do. After attending the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, she completed her residency right here in Sioux City at the Siouxland Medical Education Foundation.
“Every patient I meet has a unique history and a unique story,” says Dr. Austreim. “Building patient relationships is my favorite part of being a doctor.”
When she isn’t working at the South Sioux City clinic, Dr. Austreim enjoys her morning coffee, eating fresh blueberries and the occasional piece of foreign chocolate, and rooting for the University of North Dakota hockey team.
